Esmie is a UK based design studio, creating hand-crafted elegant stationery & luxury home accessories by combining Japanese aesthetics with time-honoured artisanal techniques. They work closely alongside family-run silk-screen print studios in Kyoto, Japan to produce their designs. Esmie use a selection of expert artisans to produce their products, paper mills in the Lake District & Italy, fabric mills in Japan & Holland, including experienced bookbinders in the New Forest, and skilled lampshade makers in East Sussex.

Designed with everyday practicality and modernity in mind, these A5 notebooks contain blank internal leaves sourced from paper mills located in the UK and Italy, suitable for both writing & drawing, they are hand-bound in a bindery in the South of England in a catalogue of silk-screen printed designs, selected from an archive in Kyoto, Japan.

Each product is handmade and therefore may be subject to variations in size, colour and alignment of pattern.
